On weekdays, the room changes pace. The brunch rush is over, light comes in through the veranda, and the terrazzo tables hold as many laptops as plates of pancakes. If you're looking for a café to work from near République, there's a seat for you here.

Our tips for working at MHC
Come in the morning. Between opening and noon, the room is at its quietest.
Grab the banquette. The sage velvet and the cushions are made for a long session.
Keep the laptop for weekdays. At weekends the room fills up fast at brunch time: that's the moment to close the screen and enjoy the table.
